Meet Brittany
With a warm, compassionate and undeniably hopeful approach, Brittany loves supporting people to gain greater self awareness, grow and dare to transform their experiences to create something beautiful and new.
Brittany has experience with adults of all ages (18-100+ years old) and believes it is never too late to start living an authentic, meaningful and joy-filled life.
She works with individuals and families across the lifespan to cope with difficult transitions and manage acute and chronic illnesses. Through a strengths-based, client-centered approach, Brittany has a unique way of empowering her clients to realize they have more skills than they realize to get started on their path towards healing.
Brittany is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Oncology-Certified, a Registered Yoga Teacher (200 hours), and Mindfulness Facilitator certified through Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Additional trainings include: Meditation and Breathwork, Reiki Level 2, kids yoga and trauma-informed yoga.
Brittany is certified in Run Walk Talk®, which allows her to walk with clients during therapy sessions. Brittany conducts her walking therapy sessions at South Bay beaches.
Why an integrative approach?
Through evidenced-based psychotherapy, mindfulness and movement practices, Brittany takes an integrative approach to helping people through their healing.
Brittany has found that an integrative approach not only fills the gaps and covers the space in between support for clients, it also allows for a fully integrated approach to care and support in a fractured system.
Health care and mental health can be difficult to navigate. Brittany has focused her career and professional skills to create a one stop shop approach and consolidating services and support for her clients. Brittany utilizes movement, mindfulness and therapy to support her clients in all aspects of life.
